Who We Serve
Our programs are designed around the water chemistry challenges specific to each industry, not generic solutions applied across the board.

Technology Platform
Our vision is to feed all three service verticals into a single cloud-based platform, allowing continuous data flow to monitor in real-time what is happening at your plant. Our experts are seasoned veterans in the IT & AI space, and help us build a platform where your automation acts predictively, not reactively.
Log in directly to your account dashboard — view treatment data, test results, dosage records, and system trends from any device. Your data, accessible whenever you need it.
Inline analyzers feed readings — turbidity, pH, conductivity, free chlorine — directly into the platform in real time. System changes show up immediately, not at the next site visit.
We can port directly into your existing infrastructure — including your PI historian, SCADA, or DCS systems — and pull data rather than requiring a separate connection. No new hardware required.
The platform analyzes trends across your water chemistry data to surface anomalies, predict drift, and flag developing issues — before they become equipment failures or compliance events.
Your on-site technician still shows up, runs tests, and reads the systems in person. The platform carries that context forward between visits — so nothing drifts unnoticed in the weeks in between. You get the depth of a field expert and the continuity of always-on monitoring.
Our Founder
A chemical engineer by training, Anish has spent nearly a decade in industrial water treatment, in roles that have taken him across the country. He began with Nalco Champion (Ecolab) in Houston, ultimately leading the process chemicals team at a major BP refinery in Toledo, Ohio. He then joined Suez Water Technologies & Solutions in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he went on to lead commercial operations across Washington and Oregon. Most recently, with Solenis, he led a team at the largest refinery on the West Coast before serving as Area Manager for the company's West Coast heavy industry division.
That work has been hands-on and in the field with cooling towers, boiler houses, and wastewater systems at refineries, power plants, and manufacturing facilities where an upset costs real money and downtime isn't an option. Across those environments, Anish built a reputation for leading teams well and keeping mission-critical systems running.
Today, Anish is looking to acquire an established water treatment business and lead it for the long term through Cascade Industrial Water. He intends to step into day-to-day operations as an owner-operator, preserving the team, culture, and reputation the current owner has built while investing in its next chapter of growth.
Outside of work he enjoys the outdoors and time with friends and family, and is a dedicated automotive enthusiast with a passion for working on cars and motorcycles. He holds a BS in Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Our Advisors
Cascade Industrial Water is supported by a group of advisors with deep experience across water treatment, operations, and business acquisition.

Jim is a third-generation water treater with 25 years of leadership experience across the industry's largest names — including GE Water, Solenis, Veolia, and Nalco Water, where he led the turnaround of its largest and most profitable district. Earlier in his career, he took over his family's regional water treatment company, transitioned it to a heavy-industry focus, grew it, and sold it. He now runs Industrial Water Advisory, providing independent, vendor-neutral counsel to asset owners and water treatment service companies alike. Jim advises Cascade on technical program strategy, bid and contract review, and M&A support.

At Cascade, Victor supports the people side of growth — leadership development, team design, culture, and succession planning — helping technical service businesses scale with clarity and care. He works with owners as they define their next role, supports emerging leaders as they step into greater responsibility, and helps teams grow without losing the trust, precision, and reliability that customers depend on. Earlier in his career, Victor founded Experience Institute, was named to Forbes 30 Under 30 in education, and served as a Lecturer in Design at Stanford's School of Engineering.

Brian is a veteran water treatment professional with 37 years of experience in one of the industry's most demanding environments. As Utility Technologist at Marathon Petroleum, operator of the nation's largest refining system, he oversees water treatment across an operation with zero margin for error. He also spent years on the supplier side with Ashland and Solenis. Brian now advises Cascade from the asset owner's perspective on program performance and what a plant actually needs from a treatment partner.

Michael is a Managing Director at NextGen Growth Partners, where he supports Cascade's acquisition strategy and portfolio operations. Before NextGen, he worked at Kinzie Capital Partners, where he helped lead lower-middle-market transactions in the manufacturing and specialty industrial space. Michael holds an MBA with High Honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He advises Cascade on deal sourcing, transaction execution, and portfolio company growth.

Bill has over twenty years of experience developing and acquiring energy projects across North America, Europe, Asia, and North Africa. His current focus is waste-to-energy, including anaerobic digestion and gasification, with deep expertise sourcing project capital across development, equity, and debt. Bill advises Cascade on project development and capital structuring as the company evaluates growth opportunities.
Common Questions
A quick primer on who we are, how we work, and what a partnership strategy means for your business.
Both. Cascade is a holding company built to acquire and operate an established water treatment business. Founder Anish Tailor plans to step into day-to-day leadership as CEO — this isn't a passive investment fund, it's a long-term operating commitment backed by real industry experience.
We're focused on established, founder-owned water treatment businesses — chemical programs, equipment and automation, or field service providers — serving industrial customers nationwide. Revenue size, geography, and exact service mix are flexible. The existing team, reputation, and customer relationships matter most.
Preserving what already works is the priority. The intent is a smooth transition that keeps the existing team in place, honors the culture the current owner built, and maintains continuity for customers — not a rip-and-replace integration.
Those three verticals represent the real technical capabilities — chemistry formulation, automation and analyzers, and hands-on field expertise — that Anish has built over a decade in the industry and intends to deploy into the business. It's a preview of the operating model, not an existing service catalog.
Cascade is backed by Next Gen Growth Partners, which provides committed capital and operational support for the acquisition and transition. Anish is not a financial buyer — he intends to run the business directly as owner-operator for the long term.
